“What is it going to cost”? That is a question we often hear. With tax partners in large law firms charging an average of $600+ per hour, many businesses and individuals are afraid to seek out a quality IRS tax attorney because of fear of what it will cost. The answer may pleasantly surprise you.
Our goal is to help clients reduce the time, confusion, and stress associated with federal and state tax matters. Eliminating stress includes providing our services in the most cost efficient manner possible while still providing superior service and results.
Hiring a tax attorney typically results in tax savings that are far in excess of the tax that the government claims is owed. If we don’t think you have a good case, we will try to communicate that to you at our first meeting or telephone conference.
For all cases we offer hourly fees. Our hourly fees range from $150 to $350 per hour depending on the matter and the lawyer assigned. Unlike many firms, we are willing to provide you with good faith estimates up front so you can plan your budget. We will also often entertain fee caps or reduced rates if the matter exceeds the estimate. In other words, if unforeseen issues arise, we are willing to share that risk with you.
Most of our offshore reporting services and many other tax disputes can also be handled for a flat fee. This arrangement provides everyone with certainty and predictability. Examples of cases we have accepted for a flat fee include lien releases, collection hearings and offshore amnesty filings.
As tax attorneys, we often make appearances on behalf of clients and in many cases, we are able to resolve tax disputes without having clients attend even one meeting. We are also often able to resolve tax matters without ever having met our clients in person. Most of our interaction with clients can be handled via correspondence or electronically (telephone, Skype, email).
Over the last several years, we have represented clients everywhere in the US from Maine to Hawaii and also on several continents. We are licensed to represent clients before the IRS anywhere in the nation or the world.
Whether you have a small individual tax issue or liability or a larger business tax matter, we believe that we have the experience, expertise, and resources that you need.
Still not certain? We offer a no cost, no obligation initial confidential consultation (either in person or by telephone) to see if we are a good fit. The CPAmerica organization of accounting firms has named us their preferred legal services provider for FBAR lawyer and FATCA related matters. In other words, we are the lawyers that the experts turn to when problems arise.
Give us a call. Our services are more affordable than you may think.
