Second Opinion Practice
As a service for the community, Mahany & Ertl offers a complimentary second opinion service for individuals and businesses. With almost 40 years of combined legal experience, Brian Mahany & Christopher Ertl will help litigants who are confused or misinformed about what is happening in their case. Often we can offer other options or alternatives.
Our goal is not to take the case from the lawyer handling the case. We will give up to two hours of our time, without charge, to review your matter and offer our perspective.
Our 2nd opinion clinic is available for fraud cases, tax matters and business litigation. For a reasonable fee we will also audit legal bills in larger cases.
In the unlikely event that your attorney has committed fraud or legal malpractice, we will advise and help you decide whether or not to pursue malpractice claims against the offending professional.
